Quick Lime
Quick lime commonly known as Calcium Oxide or burnt lime is made by the thermal decomposition of materials which have Calcium Carbonate above 900°C. It is a white, crystalline solid, alkaline, caustic, at room temperature, also called quick lime or Calcium Oxide powder.
Quicklime can also be hydrated with water, in a process commonly referred to as slaking, resulting in Hydrated Quicklime (or calcium hydroxide), a dry free-flowing powder product that is practical and efficient for many uses.
The chemical nature of some additives causes the Quick Lime or Calcium Oxide to become “Fluidized,” that is, having properties of being highly fluid. This fluidized quicklime is ideal for use with special material handling systems for optimum flowability and to avoid clogging.
High Reactive Quick Lime
Used in calcination of limestone and helps in producing Quicklime. It is readily made with the highest of standards in the industry while sticking to a pre-defined quality standards.
High Reactive quicklime provides superior chemical performance. It will deliver exceptional performance for acid-neutralization, SO2-absorption, sludge-stabilization or other industrial-alkali applications.
Our position as one of the leaders in the industry that provides High Reactive Quick Lime speaks for itself. Our quick lime is made with the use of best technology which gives 100% results. We strive to be the best high reactive quick lime manufacturers to provide satisfaction.
Uses of Calcium Oxide (Quicklime) are as following:
- Calcium Oxide (Quicklime) mainly used in medicinal and insecticides industries.
- Calcium Oxide (Quicklime) used in the manufacturing of cement, paper, and high-grade steel.
- Calcium Oxide (Quicklime) used as a reagent in laboratories for dehydration.
